LIVING THE 4G LIFE
GATHER. GROW. GIVE. GO!
Living the 4G Life isn’t just a catchy phrase—it’s a call to action for every disciple of Jesus. It’s about Gathering in community, Growing in our faith, Giving our time and resources, and Going out to share the Gospel with others. When we live the 4G Life, we step into the full rhythm of what it means to follow Jesus—not just on Sundays, but every day. It’s how we stay connected, grow stronger, serve others, and carry the mission of Christ into the world. This is the lifestyle that transforms lives, builds the Church, and makes disciples who make disciples.
THE 4G's EXPLAINED
Living the 4G Life is about embracing the full mission of what it means to follow Jesus. It’s not just about attending church—it’s about becoming the Church. When we Gather, Grow, Give, and Go, we step into a lifestyle that reflects the heart of Jesus and the purpose He has for each of us. These four rhythms work together to build a strong, active faith that moves beyond Sunday mornings and into everyday life. Let’s take a closer look at each one.
GATHER
Don’t just do Sundays - IGNITE them!
- Show up regularly to worship, pray, and encounter God together
- Connect with people who are real, raw, and running after Jesus
- Make church more than a checkbox - it’s your launchpad for the week!
GROW
Because faith isn’t meant to sit still.
- Jump into a House Group, ask tough questions, and dig into the Bible
- Wrestle with truth and let it change your life, not just your Sunday
- Pursue Jesus not just in belief—but in how you live, love, and lead
GIVE
God gave you gifts - let’s put them to work!
- Use your time and talents to make a difference in real lives
- Give generously to fuel the mission and spark more fires in the lives of others
- Live with open hands and open hearts—in your home, church & community
GO!
The world is dark - and YOU are the light.
- Share Jesus wherever you go: work, school, Target... yeah, even there
- Serve your neighbors like you actually know their names
- Live on mission, right where you are - and help set the world on fire for Jesus!
WHY THIS WAY WORKS BEST
ACTS 2:42-47
To understand how we can do this effectively, we turn to scripture—specifically Acts 2:42-47, where we see how the early church lived out their faith:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
When we look at the early followers of Christ, we see four actions that shaped their lives and fueled the rapid growth of the church:
When we live out the 4G’s—Gather, Grow, Give, and Go - we’re not just attending a meeting… we’re living like the very first believers did in Acts. The early church wasn’t built on programs or buildings—it was built on people doing life together, sharing meals, praying, learning, and serving side by side. In that kind of environment, faith isn’t something we visit once a week; it becomes the rhythm of our lives.
This is also why we do house groupsthis way. House groups give us the space to know and be known, to strengthen each other’s faith, to meet needs quickly and personally, and to go out united into our community with the love of Jesus. Just like in Acts 2, when believers lived this way, the Lord added to their number daily. We believe this same model will not only grow disciples but also ignites a movement—spreading the fire of the Gospel from our living rooms to the ends of the earth.

When we look at the early followers of Christ, we see four actions that shaped their lives and fueled the rapid growth of the church:
- They GATHERED in the temple – Prioritizing worship/community as the foundation of faith.
- They GREW in small groups – Strengthening their faith by learning, sharing, and encouraging one another.
- They GAVE generously – Supporting God’s mission through radical generosity.
- They WENT into the world – Carrying the Gospel beyond the church walls and into everyday life.
